2019 FAYAT GROUP RESULTS, UNBROKEN GROWTH!

The Group’s performance in 2019 confirms its position as France’s number 1 independent construction group and a world leader in road equipment.

The Fayat Group is continuing its growth both in France and internationally and on its 7 business lines. It has maintained its independence and reinforced its financial soundness thanks to the commitment of its staff.

Strong progress for Fayat Group in 2019:

  • €4.6 billion in revenues (+5.2%)
  • €1.3 billion in equity, including net income of €102 million (+19%).

Fayat stands out by its strong growth in exports, mainly driven by its Road Equipment business.

37% of revenues in 2019 (€1.7 billion) was from exports with 39% of the workforce based abroad (8,600 employees).

The Group maintained its growth on the French market with 63% of revenues in 2019, i.e. €2.9 billion and 61% of the workforce, i.e. 13,500 employees.

2019 saw the acquisition of new businesses supplementing and bolstering the 7 major business lines on which the group built its success: Civil Works, Foundations, Building, Energy Services, Metal, Pressure Vessels, and Road Equipment.

The Group set up an investment entity in June 2019 to meet the equity needs of innovative start-ups connected to the Group’s main business lines:

FAST’s first investment was finalised in August 2019 with TransWay, a startup that proposes an innovative solution to meet the needs of local authorities, transport operators and businesses. This investment enables us to create a sustainable partnership with our subsidiary, Fareco, which specialises in urban and suburban road equipment and solutions.
