Reduction of CO₂ emissions
BOMAG e-PERFORMANCE
BOMAG is showcasing its e-PERFORMANCE range at INTERMAT 2024, focusing on rechargeable electric machines that contribute to environmentally responsible worksites. This equipment reduces noise emissions significantly, while providing economic benefits and performance that is equivalent to conventional machines, but with reduced operating costs. This initiative is in line with strict emission regulations, and meets the needs of tenders setting noise and CO₂ emission limits.
DYNAPAC GOES ELECTRIC WITH Z.ERA
DYNAPAC's Z.ERA program paves the way for the transition towards emission-free workplaces, particularly in city centres. Anticipating the bans on diesel and petrol engines by 2025, the programme focuses on products geared to urban applications. Battery technology is replacing combustion engines, starting with machines designed for urban and repair projects, providing optimum performance with reduced fuel consumption.

DYNAPAC SEISMIC ASPHALT
SEISMIC technology endows rollers with the unique ability to automatically determine the optimum frequency for any compacted material. By eliminating uncertainty through automatic detection of the frequency of soil characteristics, SEISMIC applies exactly the right amount of energy in the right place at the right time. This innovation provides new levels of accuracy and efficiency, minimising CO₂ emissions through the precise use of energy.

SAE Cold-Mix Kit
SAE is addressing the growing demand for decarbonisation in road construction with its turnkey cold-mix kit, which can be fitted to any hot-mix asphalt plant to provide low-carbon cold-mix production with recycling rates of up to 100%. This compact solution produces no gas emissions or fumes during application, and reduces the need for raw materials and transport.
SECMAIR THE BOX
SECMAIR is showcasing THE BOX, a 100% electric bitumen sprayer generating very low levels of CO₂ emissions, while attaining energy efficiency of 95% thanks to improved insulation, thermal optimisation and electrification. The lack of any hydraulic systems reduces maintenance and eliminates the environmental risks associated with hydraulic oils. This environmentally responsible approach underlines SECMAIR's commitment to green road maintenance.

ERMONT TSX
The ERMONT TSX is available in stationary (TSX InCity) and mobile (TSX HIGHWAY) versions, and is the result of several years of R&D dedicated to devising an environmentally-friendly solution.
The TSX InCity recycles up to 70% of asphalt aggregates in its unique drum, protecting the environment while guaranteeing the quality of hot mix asphalt. Featuring patented TSX technology with the DUOTHERM and ECOFIRE processes, the TSX minimises the environmental impacts of asphalt production while reducing CO₂ emissions.
The TSX HIGHWAY (mobile version) is ideal for low-carbon road construction, thanks to its recycling rates of up to 70%, extreme mobility for reduced logistical constraints, and technical solutions which minimise energy consumption. Its discrete visual impact and compliance with environmental standards make it an integrated, environmentally responsible solution.
MARINI EVODRYER
Marini EvoDryer — Marini's latest solution — is revolutionising asphalt-aggregate recycling. By increasing the length of the dryer drum and modifying the position at which recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) is introduced, the EvoDryer improves the quality of the final asphalt while reducing emissions and odours. Tested for a three-year period, it guarantees positive results, with increased RAP use, less maintenance, and significantly reduced emissions and odours, contributing to an environmentally friendly approach to asphalt production.
