On behalf of EDF, RAZEL-BEC's Nuclear Civil Engineering and Services department (GCNS) is treating facing defects on the enclosures of 1300 MW reactor buildings (BR).

Within an overall timeframe of 48 months, RAZEL-BEC will be working on the 20 units of the Belleville, Cattenom, Flamanville, Golfech, Nogent, Paluel, Penly and Saint-Alban nuclear power plants. All work is scheduled during unit outages (reactor shutdown).

Suspended nacelles on EDF 1300 MW reactors At the Flamanville power plant, RAZEL-BEC proposed to carry out crack treatment work using suspended nacelles. These nacelles were designed by RAZEL-BEC. Each of them is equipped with a collective protection system. Planning constraints led RAZEL-BEC to manufacture three sets of nacelles, each set consisting of three nacelles and each covering one sector of the reactor building. These nacelles will be used on 14 of the 20 units in the contract.
