AFTER THE FRENCH OVERSEAS DEPARTMENTS AND TERRITORIES, THE CARIBBEAN AND CUBA, A NEW CONTRACT IN TAHITI FOR THE FAYAT METAL DIVISION
The contract particularly includes a study to check the suitability of the crane in relation to the dock's existing structures as well as possible subsequent reinforcement work. The specific characteristic of this project was the use of a hybrid solution (supplying of a standard crane and custom adjustments) to reduce the loads carried by the existing system - particularly in extreme wind (225 km/h) - and to maintain existing electrical capacities. The crane was set up on Joseph Paris's Nantes site for the required testing before shipment by container.
