A PROJECT WITH SPECIFIC CONSTRAINTS
The work consisted in reinforcing the existing runways and taxiways by milling and then laying an additional thickness of asphalt. At the same time, the teams laid 30,000m² of concrete slabs for the aircraft parking areas, built a new refuelling system and also intervened on the airport’s runway lighting system. Special mention must be made of the intervention of our Satelec subsidiary for all the electrical work.
Throughout all the work, there was no interruption in traffic at the airport thanks to the observance of an extremely tight phasing of the work and to a lot of night-time work.
OUR SYNERGIES: ADDED VALUE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS
This project is characteristic of the synergies that exist within the Fayat Group. In addition to the intervention of Razel-Bec and Satelec, the fleet of machines (finishers and rollers) was supplied by Bomag and the asphalt plants by Ermont. Work was completed at the end of December 2016.
