FARECO at the centre of a 1,000m² smart city
FARECO recently attended the International Summit for Innovation in Mid-Sized Cities (SIIViM), held in Nevers on 9 and 10 November. This summit was the first of its kind in France, hosting a giant Smart City demonstration model spanning over 1,000m². This vast model offered an immersive vision of the intelligent, connected city of the future, inviting visitors to discover 116 technologies which will shape tomorrow's urban settlements. Fareco showcased two innovative solutions:
These two innovative systems were on display in Fareco's demonstration space, attracting the attention of numerous municipal delegates. We were also honoured to receive a visit from Mr. Mounir MAHJOUBI, Secretary of State for Digital Technologies and member of parliament for the 19th arrondissement of Paris, as well as Mr. Denis THURIOT, Mayor of Nevers.
This first edition of the SIIVIM was packed full of fruitful discussions on the evolution of urban services, and clearly fulfilled its objective of motivating mid-sized cities to take charge of their digital transformation and reinvent the city of the future.
