Storage reservoir at Issy-les-Moulineaux
Construction by Razel-Bec of a stormwater storage reservoir under the Gabriel-Voisin Stadium in Issy-les-Moulineaux
Characteristics of the reservoir
• An underground reservoir 26 metres deep and 40 metres in diameter, with a circular diaphragm wall, a concrete apron resting on 170 micro-piles, tie plates and an abutment slab in prefabricated sections (beams and plates).
• Constructions inside the reservoir: slope forms, trough support shells, two vortex wells, a concrete spiral staircase, upper and lower steel walkways.
• Technical premises under the stadium: civil engineering and finishing of the premises for ventilation, electricity, toilets and washrooms, access gallery and outlet tunnel.
• Start well for the micro tunnel borer at a depth of 12 metres to connect the reservoir to the storm spillways.
Work was completed at the end of December 2017.
