The new cutting and drilling line commissioned in late 2020 in Fleurance (Gers) - after ten weeks of installation - was a key stage of the ongoing process to modernise the workshop.
In addition to an increase in speed, the facility enables machining (bevelled edges, contour cutting, oblongs, shape cutting) and marking out of positions, points of reference and values of the series of parts for welding. In addition to improving the quality of work and output, this new system has also reduced assembly station errors. Machine information exchanged in real time as part of computer-assisted production management constitutes a further step towards industry 4.0, which will place the workshop at the cutting edge of metal parts manufacturers.
