The Town Hall of Nice has decided to redevelop the city’s South Railway Station, a focal point of everyday life in the town and an architectural example of the town’s history.

AN AREA OF NEARLY 2 HECTARES

This exceptional area of nearly 2 hectares situated in the town centre will become a pleasant and attractive place to congregate. Cari Côte d'Azur, an agency of the Fayat Bâtiment division, has been entrusted with the redevelopment of the district around the South Station in Nice. The programme includes the construction of a 3-storey underground car park for 754 cars, of a cinema with nine theatres and 1870 seats with all the accompanying acoustic constraints, 98 flats, a student hall of residence with 144 rooms, sports facilities, shops and restaurants as well as the extension of a supermarket and the renovation of a covered market.
