BOUCHES-DU-RHÔNE

The Jules Horowitz Research Reactor (RJH) is a high-performance, modern research tool that the CEA and its European partners have acquired to support and provide expertise for current and future nuclear programmes.

For RAZEL-BEC, the contract covers the entire civil engineering of the buildings and installations. The largest of these is the nuclear unit, comprising a reactor building and its annex. This is a six-storey structure containing the reactor, housed in its pool, as well as the channels and pools for storing irradiated components and the "hot cells" for carrying out experiments. Strengths: RJH is one of the first nuclear units to be built on earthquake-resistant supports. This project confirms RAZEL-BEC's position in the nuclear sector and its mastery of quality at the highest level.
