Semeru Ligne 11 Paris

Semeru participation

Adaptation work has been initiated in order to make travel more fluid and to comply with the regulations in force concerning the evacuation time of travelers. These works include the creation of accesses, elevators, escalators and emergency exits. They should make it possible to guarantee the safety and comfort of all passengers on line 11, and in general, help improve accessibility by reducing the arduousness of the journeys, in particular for people with reduced mobility.

In partnership with renowned manufacturers (SIEMENS, ALSTOM), the teams of the Semeru Transport company carry out studies, supply, programming and installation of ground-based driving automation. Paris metro train control systems are computer systems set up by RATP to manage the control and command of trains on several manually operated lines of the Paris metro. These systems include automation on the ground and on board trains. The system managing ground-train communication allows real-time control of the train speed in relation to the type of line and according to the position of the preceding train.

Thanks to these control / command systems, several essential functions, such as the location of rolling stock and ground-train communication, are optimally ensured and participate in the overall management of traffic. Nearly 600 communication points with the trains will be configured and deployed on the ground along the tracks by SEMERU teams, while ensuring essential continuity of service and line operation.

Our client can count on our teams to successfully complete this challenge, and thus support it until the end of the period scheduled for the first quarter of 2022.
