Sales meeting at Fareco Portugal :
Early October, Fareco's quarterly sales meeting took place for the first time beyond French borders, in Porto. This place wasn’t chosen randomly because it’s precisely in Portugal that Fareco has a subsidiary in Europe. The meeting began with a visit to the Guimarães toll station, in the north of Porto, managed by Ascendi, a Fareco's historical customer in that country.
This visit allowed Fareco’s sales force, mostly used to traffic signal projects, to visit a "free flow" toll system (high speed detection without barrier). This system realized by Fareco in Portugal should arrive soon in France, once the legal framework is ready.
After a visit to the agency to meet the local sales and maintenance team, the program then focused on strategic and commercial topics. The agencies turnover and next year sales goals were reviewed in detail, as well as how to improve the interface with the Production and Projects departments. This meeting was very productive, with rich and fruitful debate, and the team spirit was strengthened between the French and the Portuguese teams.
