SNCF WORKSITES FOR THE UPGRADING TO PRM STANDARDS & SAFETY OF PEDESTRIAN TRACKS (RUFFEC, LIBOURNE, TALENCE & LAMOTTE)
As part of the accessibility standards for people with reduced mobility, Libourne station and Ruffec station are being renovated. The work is aimed at creating a footbridge to cross the tracks as well as raising the heights of the platforms to provide better access to trains. The “Talence-Lamothe” site was created to secure 6 km of hiking trails along the rails of the Talence-Lamothe line. Optimal methods have also been put in place to secure the teams working in this prohibited zone (SNCF team dedicated to announcing train arrivals, formwork system and direct access to private properties).
