On 14 December, the new headquarters building of Crédit Agricole Aquitaine was inaugurated in the Bacalan district in Bordeaux.

Seg-Fayat managed the works as General Contractor, delivering this magnificent building designed by the teams of Jean-Michel Wilmotte in a record time of just two years.

The participants were given a visit of this building bathed in natural light, its 2,500m² of green terraces boasting a superb view over the riverside district, its work spaces designed to foster collaborative work and, finally, the 360-seat auditorium for speeches by:

Rémi Garruz, President of the National Federation of the Crédit Agricole,

Jack Bouin, CEO of the Crédit Agricole Aquitaine,

Jean-Michel Wilmotte, Architect,

Jean-Claude Fayat, President of the Fayat Group,

Alain Juppé, President of Bordeaux Métropole and Mayor of Bordeaux,

Alain Rousset, President of the Nouvelle Aquitaine Region

In his speech, Jean-Claude Fayat emphasised:
- the human dimension, with as many as 200 workers and craftspeople mobilised on the project

- the local dimension, by the choice of subcontractors and materials

- the technical dimension, with the work being completed in record-breaking time (22 months), 100% by BIM and with HQE (excellent) and BREEAM (Good) certification.

He warmly congratulated the teams of Seg-Fayat and all the workers involved in this fine adventure.
