Fayat delivers four schools under a PPP

The four schools delivered to Seine-Saint-Denis Council will be officially opened thisweek by Laurent Fayat and Stéphane Troussel, President of the Council.

They were built in record time to be operational for the new school year starting in 2014 by several companies of the FAYAT Group under a public-private partnership (PPP) signed on April 4, 2012:

  • NORD FRANCE CONSTRUCTIONS for the Anatole France School in Pavillons-sous-Bois (including a central kitchen and an adjacent walkway built by VIRY),
  • URBAINE DE TRAVAUX for the Jean-Jaurès School in Villepinte and the Barbara School in Stains,
  • FAYAT BATIMENT for the Cesària-Évora School in Montreuil.

The partnership contract will now continue for a maintenance phase of 20 years.

The total investment to the amount of €101 million for the 4 schools was raised under the aegis of SOMIFA IDF, a subsidiary of the FAYAT Group and developer of the contract.

"This success highlights the experience of the Group and its ability to handle such contracts through close, demanding but constantly constructive cooperation with the Seine-Saint-Denis Council teams, the demonstration of a true partnership between the public and private sectors,"  declared Laurent Fayat, the Group’s Managing Director.
