ESTP sponsorship: partnership 3.0 loading...

Since 2019, Fayat has actively sponsored ESTP’s class of 2022. The new rules dictated by the sanitary crisis have forced our subsidiaries’ HR and operations teams to develop their agility and innovation to maintain the special relationships built up with these future engineers.

Civil Works, Foundations, Building, Energy Services, Metal: many of ouractivities have been involved in this sponsorship, and our teams organised a wide range of events to promote exchanges with students: worksite visits, recruitment job dating events, virtual trade shows, entrepreneurship workshops, trade round tables, and job shadowing schemes. Though it has still been possible to hold some of them in person, with the strictest possible sanitary protocols in place, others had to be suspended or rethought in a digital or hybrid format.

17 events - HR & Recruitment - Coaching - Themes - Trades - were proposed to students as part of this scheme over the last nine months.

Rentrée ESTP 2020


After having been suspended for practically a year, events such as worksite visits have now restarted in small groups of no more than ten students. Plus our teams, who are keen to keep communicating with students about our employer brand, achievements and expertise, and recruitment commitments, have adjusted their in-person plans, replacing them with custom modules.

As a result, a number of virtual worksite visits were organised: Greater Paris lines 11 and 14 (Viry, Razel-Bec), Rio Paris 9th district project (Fayat Building). And the ESTP trade show? It took place in mid-January on a platform specially designed to hold for virtual trade shows. It was followed by a series of events more specifically focused on recruitments and student-specific communications.

This meant we were still able to meet and talk to students looking for an internship. In general, our recruiters found that targeted, high-quality events enabled us to attract students who were genuinely interested in our businesses, most of whom had read up on us beforehand: despite a clear fall in the number of CVs received, we saw an increase in the overall quality of profiles.
